NEW! – Clogging

Students must be at least 8/9 years of age to enroll.  It is encouraged that students take at least one to two years in the Core Level Package before enrolling into Clogging unless given permission otherwise due to previous dance experience.

This class is a great choice for any tap dancer who's looking to expand his/her knowledge into the world of clogging.  This class will be a beginner-intermediate level course and students who plan on registering are asked to attend AIM's 4 Week Prep Course offered in the month of August.  The Prep Course will start in August and will be held on Tuesdays from 6-7PM.  This Prep Course will lead right into our dance season that begins on August 29th.  The 4 Week Prep Course is a great opportunity for both the students and teacher alike to get better acquainted with one another.  This will also help in determining if this class is going to be the right fit for each child before registering for the dance season.  Please contact AIM if your child is interested.

NEW! – OBA (Only Boys Allowed)

Students must be at least 7 years of age to enroll.  It is encouraged but not required that students previously enroll in at least one year of Core Level before enrolling in O.B.A. Hip Hop.

Special permission will be given to those students with previous dance experience or individuals that exemplify strong listening skills.  Please call for more details regarding enrollment for this class. O.B.A. Hip Hop is designed for children who have a strong desire to learn the newest and hottest dance moves like you see on tv!  And the best part is, only boys are allowed to take this class!  For any boy that has a strong desire to dance, this is the class for him!  Please contact AIM if your child is interested.

Beginning-Intermediate Acrobatics

Students must be in Level 1* and up or the  equivalent age requirement to enroll.  It is very important that students who enroll in this class have previously attended dance classes and are more than adequate in following directions or procedures.  Safety is our number one concern in this class!  Special permission will be made for students who meet these guidelines for the class.  Please call for more details regarding enrollment for this class.
This class is a great choice for any dancers who wish to expand on the basic acrobatic skills that are taught in the Core Level Package.  Students will work on building their core strength while executing acrobatic and tumbling tricks.  This class will range in skill level and age but students will be grouped according to these two criteria for each class.  They will progress through the year with their group and work on appropriate tricks for their group's skill level.  This class will also benefit their dance performance on stage as well!

Beginning-Intermediate Hip Hop

All Technique Levels...

of Ballet, All Technique Levels of Jazz, All Technique Levels of Tap: Students must fit the appropriate age and technical requirements to graduate out of the Core Program into these classes.  Placement of the appropriate level of each style of dance must be determined by our staff at AIM.  These particular classes are more in depth versions of the classes offered during the Core Program, however, AIM allows the students to have the option to choose which styles of dance interest him/her the most.  By taking these classes as a Concentrated Class, the students have more time to focus in one particular area of dance for an extended amount of time or can choose their own dance path at Artistry In Motion!  Beginning-Intermediate Ballet is a graduate course after the Core Program but a Prep Course for students wanting to enroll in our Contemporary classes in the future.  Please speak with Miss Brooke concerning the child’s placement of these classes.  Thanks!
